On June 12, 2021 we held a baseball clinic at Pelton Park in Yonkers, NY.  Our clinic was overseen by AJ Fagan.  AJ is currently a Yonkers Police Officer, but prior to starting his career in law enforcement he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2008.  AJ played 2 years in the Pirates minor league system before leaving to become a Yonkers Police Officer.  The clinic started by the participants performing stretches and running the bases. After warming up the participants were rotated through three skill stations: hitting, pitching, and catching.  The day concluded with the officers and youth in playing in a wiiffle ball game against one another.  Every participant was issued a customized The Five-0 Lead raglan shirt, a baseball glove, and a wiffle ball bat and ball.
